Dr. Muhammad Ali is a Clinical Associate Professor of Orthopaedics, Joint Replacement, and Trauma at Shalamar Medical and Dental College and Teaching Hospital.He graduated from Nishtar Medical University, Multan, in 2002. He completed his internship and general surgery residency from Nishtar Medical University, Multan, Pakistan. After that, he moved to Aga Khan University Hospital for his Orthopaedic and Trauma Residency.

Dr. Muhammad Ali is a Clinical Associate Professor of Orthopaedics, Joint Replacement, and Trauma at Shalamar Medical and Dental College and Teaching Hospital.

He graduated from Nishtar Medical University, Multan, in 2002. He completed his internship and general surgery residency from Nishtar Medical University, Multan, Pakistan. After that, he moved to Aga Khan University Hospital for his Orthopaedic and Trauma Residency.

After completing his residency from Aga Khan University Hospital and passing his FCPS (Board) in Trauma and Orthopaedic Surgery, he joined Shaukat Khanum Memorial Cancer Hospital & Research Centre (SKMCH&RC) Lahore, Pakistan, and completed his Joint Replacement (Total Knee Replacements, Total Hip Replacements) & Tumour Fellowship.

He then moved to Italy to pursue his training in limb lengthening and Ilizarov surgery at Alessandro Manzoni Hospital, Lecco, Italy. He completed his third fellowship in Complex Trauma at University Hospital Gasthuisberg (Leuven, Belgium).

Prior to joining Shalamar Hospital, Dr. Muhammad Ali worked as a Consultant in Trauma and Orthopaedics at Punjab Social Security Hospital, Lahore, Pakistan.

Dr. Muhammad Ali is a member of numerous professional organizations and has served on many national and institutional committees. Currently, he is working as an Associate Professor of Orthopaedics and performs routine Total Knee Replacement, Total Hip Replacement, Arthroscopic ACL Reconstruction, Complex Trauma, and Non-Unions.

He is a member of the College of Physicians and Surgeons (CPSP), Pakistan, since 2007. He became a fellow of the College of Physicians and Surgeons (CPSP), Pakistan, in 2011.
